Canon Point Ignis DLC- after fight with Ravus, before fight with Ardyn
Inventory: Ornately crafted daggers, gloves, cracked phone, keys to Regalia (the car), spare glasses
Familiars and Magic Choice: Tonberry (More info here) Green-looking demons, hooded, with knife/machete in their hand, carrying a lantern. Very resilient and very quick (very stabby)
Ignis will be capable of Cognitive Magic to start off. As the time progresses, he will probably lean into learning basic elemental magic. His daggers are adept to channeling elemental magic so he will try to learn at least fire or ice magic.

Q1: You've been stranded on a desert island with only one standard-size travel suitcase. If you could only have 3 items in that suitcase, what would you want those items to be and why?
"Rope, few bottles of water and my daggers. I know it would be wiser to bring something like a machete to cut tree downs. However, I cannot defend myself or others if they are with me, from any danger we come across. With rope, you can secure shelter anywhere. It is good for climbing too. Water is self-explanatory."
He's also capable of fire magic so matches are not really needed. All in all, a sensible choice of items that he'd probably need. And since they are allowed to choose from the start then why not get a leg up on the situation and bring water from the start?
Q2: Tell us about a defining event in your life that you think influenced who you are today.
"Meeting Prince Noctis and getting into his service, of course." It is an instant and firm answer. "I am his royal retainer and bodyguard." Those are the answers anyone can get from him.
However, any other detail of them growing up, spending time together, ups and downs at trying to understand each other's position and support once Insomni was no more- it is too private thing to share. Ignis' lips are sealed on that.
Q3: What does family mean to you and who do you consider a part of your family?
There is a long pause as Ignis thoughts go haywire at the question. He doesn't get to think about this stuff very often, especially when they are on the road with other guys. He grew up with Noctis and Gladiolus, and then he had met Prompto as well, when Noct was in high school. The four of them are tight-knit; or so that's what Ignis want to believe. He knows Gladio and Noct argue a lot, the Prince himself can be childish and stubborn, Gladio thickheaded, Prompto a bit reckless and Ignis himself perhaps too forgiving. Yet still... there's nothing he wouldn't do for them.
"I consider Noctis, Gladiolus and Prompto my family," Ignis finally answers, quieter than usual, and trying his best to keep his poker face and pushing his glasses up with one hand.
Q4: Tell me about a time you were involved in a personal conflict (not a physical fight). What would you do differently to resolve it?
"Ahh," Ignis sighs and pushes his glasses up. "It was an old argument between Prince and I. We saw things differently, for obvious reasons. I had always worked to keep him on the path of becoming a respectable adult and someone who will inherit the crown one day. I was a bit too stubborn about it, and the Prince felt cut off. Forced. I was younger and very work-driven and didn't see things from Noctis' shoes. We resolved it in the best way possible," he nods.
"There is nothing I would change about the resolution of that fight, as we had come to terms with what we are and what we have to do- we are still good friends beyond our titles. I do wish, however, I had realized the problem so that there was no fight to begin with."
Q5: Do you have any regrets? If so, what are the biggest ones? If not, what is something you wish you had gotten to do back home?
"Regrets? I had already mentioned earlier about the fight I had with the Prince. I wished I was a bit more mature to understand that situation. Aside from that," Ignis crosses hands over his chest and looks stern, "I do not have regrets." Yet. "Big ones, at least."
There are those minuscule ones not trying a certain dish at a certain place, or buy an extra pair of glasses or adding more vegetables to dinner. But currently, he has no monumental regrets.
